Elder Robin Granger is the second child of five children born to Willie (deceased) and Katherine Page in Mansfield, Ohio, on October 10, 1956.  On October 9, 1993, she married her wonderful husband, John, and they have a beautiful daughter, Leigh; her best friend is her mother. 

Elder Granger was baptized at an early age but surrendered her life to the Lord in 1986; she became involved in her former church, Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, as an usher, nurse, Sunday school teacher, and Ministry Leader of Christian Women Working for Christ.

In 1993, at the first Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship in New Orleans, her hunger to seek God grew even stronger. She stepped out in faith in 1995 and accepted her calling, which had been on her life since childhood, even though she knew that, in a very traditional church, they might not accept her.

Guided by the Holy Spirit in 1996, Elder Granger joined New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church. That same year, Pastor Fred L. Gilbert licensed her as a minister at New Beginning, and later, in 2002, ordained her as an elder in the State of Ohio Full Gospel Fellowship, where she received her license from the Secretary of Ohio and was authorized to solemnize marriages.

In 2016, Elder Granger completed the following classes: Spiritual Authority, Congregational Care, Altar Workers, Evangelism, Expository Preaching and Teaching, and Holy Spirit, during which she was publicly affirmed and ordained as an Elder by the International Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, under her International Presiding Bishop, Joseph W. Walker III.

She was First Assistant to the late Dr. Irece T. Bradley at New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church until his retirement. On March 20, 2011, the late Elder Patricia M. Sullivan became the third pastor of New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church, and Granger worked closely with her. 

Under her leadership, Elder Granger served as the Ministry Leader for Intercessory Prayer, Christian Education, Altar Workers, and the State of Ohio Co-Director of the Ministerial Alliance in the Full Gospel Fellowship. She oversaw the Thanksgiving Baskets for New Beginning, distributing free turkeys and all the trimmings for a Thanksgiving meal to the less fortunate, with the Salvation Army providing the families. 

She is a member of the Mansfield Inter-Denominational Ministerial Alliance and previously volunteered with the program Youth for Christ. Elder Granger has taken classes in Christian Counseling at Mansfield Bible College and Seminary.

Elder Granger’s favorite scriptures are Psalm 34:1: “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” and Jeremiah 1:8: “Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.” But, most importantly, Elder Robin Granger loves the Lord more than anything else.
